文祥窯は、有田焼の原料である「泉山陶石」を使い、磁器創成期の精神を受け継ぐ窯元です。
当主・馬場光二郎氏は「素材を人の都合で選別するのではなく、陶石をできるだけ無駄なく使うこと」を大切にしています。
自ら陶石を砕き、土を作り、その素朴が持つ力強い表情を活かした器を生み出しています。

Bunshogama is a pottery studio dedicated to preserving the spirit of porcelain-making from its earliest days, using Izumiyama porcelain stone, the original raw material of Arita ware.
Kojiro Baba, the kiln’s master potter, believes that materials should not be selected solely for human convenience, but used as fully and respectfully as possible. By crushing the porcelain stone himself and preparing the clay from scratch, he creates vessels that celebrate the natural strength, texture, and character of the material itself.
